Matthew was born in Sarnia, Ontario in 1979 and moved to Alberta in 1981. He studied psychology at the University of Calgary and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (With Distinction) in 2001. He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Alberta in 2005.
Matthew articled with Warren Sinclair LLP following completion of Law School and was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2006.
Matthew practices primarily in the areas of Real Estate and Civil Litigation and is particularly interested in employment law and landlord-tenant matters.
Matthew presently serves as Secretary of the Central Alberta Bar Association, as Treasurer of the Red Deer Downtown Business Association and acts as a volunteer lawyer for the Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic and the Canadian Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Program.
